Our philosophy – sound solutions, the first time and every time

Active Automation Solutions was founded in late 2019 in Albury Wodonga on the NSW Victorian border. Specialising in pneumatics, compressed air systems, fluid control valving and associated industrial automation equipment, we service locally and Australia-wide. With close to 20 years’ experience working either for leading automation manufacturers or with suppliers of leading brands, Active understands how important it is to provide customers with a sound solution or a product that is right for the application. We don’t thrive on the thrill of the sale – we thrive on the thrill of delivering honest, solid, genuine solutions, the first time.

There is nothing more annoying or frustrating, when a business says they can help but they lack the qualifications or the experience to do so, or they don’t realise what they don’t know. While our world is now more complex and it is not possible to be a specialist at everything, we make it our business to take the time to get the right answer the first time. At Active, we are detail-focused and believe in the age-old adage – measure twice, cut once.

Our background

Solutions delivered by Active are backed by a fitting and machining trade, mechanical engineering post-trade qualifications, and various fluid power certifications. Lindsay Beechey worked for SMC Pneumatics (Aust) Pty Ltd as a Technical Sales Engineer for more than 13 years and with an automation supplier for over 5 years specialising in Festo pneumatics and a broad range of other automation products. Experience and product knowledge of two leading pneumatic brands, as well as automation products offered by leading suppliers, has provided him with a wealth of knowledge and a large number of industry contacts.
